“Life offers us tickets to places which we have not knowingly asked for.”

“Life is a journey: made in the US, born and raised in Brazil, all the way back to the US.”

Since I was a child, nature and colors have been my source of joy and curiosity. I still remember the first set of colored pencils my grandma gave me, each shade waiting to come to life. All I needed to do was to play with them. My world was made of trips to the beach, weekends at the farm, and later, my college biology classes. Colors and textures have always found their way into my life, encouraging me to explore my creativity. Over time, cotton threads took the place of pencils, letting me create patterns in vibrant hues. Clay became my new canvas, inviting me to feel the landscape in my hands, while watercolors pulled me back to the tender memories of exploring petals and leaves. Now, I’m all of it at once—each medium, each color, each memory intertwined.
